Massage Schools: Lymphatic Massage Training

Lymphatic Massage Training

Lymph Vessels and Nodes

Lymphatic Massage (or Manual Lymphatic Drainage) is an advanced, therapeutic technique that is used to cleanse and detoxify the body. This technique employs slow, gentle, and deep strokes to assist the movement of lymphatic fluid which can support the overall function of the immune system.

The techniques taught in these classes are very anatomically specific and require the student to develop a deep awareness and sensitivity in their quality of touch. These classes create an opportunity for students to directly apply the knowledge they gain in their Physiology classes to bodywork. This provides the students with another set of tools which help clients move towards their desired health benefits.
