Suzanne joined the first humanitarian medical team to serve abandoned children in Vesnova, Belarus, with the Chernobyl Children?s Project International. Her work with this project was featured in a 6-page article in the April 24, 2006 issue of People Magazine. When Suzanne is not writing, serving humanitarian efforts, leading workshops or presentations, she devotes her time to her family, friends, home and the natural wonders that live and grow where she resides in the desert mountains of San Diego, CA.
