Description: Lomilomi I begins with an introduction to Hawaiian values and the history of Lomilomi going back a thousand years. Participants will be introduced to the "Ha" (Hawaiian energy system akin to Chi and Prana) and its use in Lomilomi. Also, working from pu'u, the hands-on portion of the class will include prone and supine work, including Opu Huli (abdominal massage), a major component of Lomilomi. Each day will include energy practices, including clearing spaces and your own energy field. We will also add spiritual Ho'oponopono and healing with shells as part of the hands-on portion of the class.
Student Notes: Bring sheets, lotion, and a sarong or beach towel.
