Kahu Brian Kamalie Vatcher, CMT, has been studying Lomilomi since 2001 with Kumu Karen Leialoha Carroll. While living and studying on O'ahu, Brian became Alaka'i Po'okela (Master Apprentice) to Kumu Karen's Kapua o Kalani Halau Lomilomi and was given permission to teach lomilomi. Brian was a master instructor for Hawaii Healing Arts College in Kailua before returning to teach at the Institute in 2006. |
