Prerequisite: Aromatherapy, Level 1
Description: Upon completion of Level 2 students are able to further advance their choices of essential oils to support their own well-being as well as the treatments with their clients. A deeper understanding of the oils and their use for emotional and energetic work is also included. Topics cover: Discussion and Feedback on aromatherapy case studies, Using essential oils in a clinical setting with appropriate terms (e.g., galactagogue, cephalic), the Impact of essential oils on each of the body's systems and related methods of application, the Study of 16 carrier oils and their therapeutic values, Chemistry of essential oils, Advanced Blending and working with the energy systems using essential oils. The 6 oils profiled are Bergamot, Clary Sage, Chamomile Roman, Lemon, Rose, and Ylang Ylang. Students will create a blend based on a case study for the class.
Student notes: Substantial notebooks are included in the tuition with essential oils and mixing oils available for use during the class. Students can purchase, although it is not required, a set of the 6 key essential oils studied in the class at a student price of $98.
