With a degree in Somatic Psychology and over a thousand hours of training in Massage Therapy since 1978, Tiahna brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to both the classroom and her position as Campus Manager.

“For over 30 years I have had the good fortune to work with others in a deep and meaningful way. I have been blessed with the opportunity to share in the process of healing and growth, be it physical, emotional or even spiritual. You too can have work that is this rewarding!”

Breanna Gieseker - School of Massage Therapists

Breanna received her initial training in massage therapy in 1998. Since then, she has had a private practice, and worked in spa settings as well as with chiropractors and physical therapists.

After 9 years in the field, she felt the need to expand her massage knowledge and skills, and found that National Holistic Institute’s program was the perfect place to accomplish that.  As an instructor, she says:

“I want to share the compassion and joy this work can inspire, and which allows us to bring these gifts with others.”

David Bloomer - School of Massage Therapists

David Bloomer

David is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist. He is a graduate of NHI’s Advanced Neuromuscular Program and Core Program. As a full time massage therapist, he has utilized advanced neuromucular techniques to perform rehabilitative massage for people experiencing post-injury pain or limitations. He also has experience as a massage therapist in the chiropractic and corporate environments. In addition to his education at NHI, David also assists his clients with his extensive experience as a student of metaphysical science.

Nicole Vandehurst

With a degree in Kinesiology from S.F.S.U and a diploma received from NHI in 2004, Nicole brings an in depth knowledge of movement and functional anatomy to the classroom. Her passion for movement studies is applied in her massage practice; in 2005 she opened up Performance Sports Massage in Santa Rosa, where she worked with many college and semi-pro athletes. With over 900 hours of massage training, Nicole loves to teach healing through therapeutic touch and overall health.

William Mathis - School of Massage Therapists

William Mathis
Instructor | Petaluma Massage School Campus

William was led to massage by his interests in meditation and martial arts. After attending the North Carolina School of Natural Healing, he pursued advanced studies in energy work in Australia before coming to California. He enjoys backpacking, snowboarding, and cooking Thai food.

William believes in Embracing Tigers – as he often tells his students, “Respect your Limitations, but challenge your Comfort Zone!”
